This all natural Australian salt has been harvested from Pink Lake in Western Victoria since the 1860s. The site holds incredible historical significance and is owned by five local aboriginal tribes.
Every summer the lake dries and reveals a bed of salmon pink salt, packed with nutrients and minerals - rich in calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc.
These minerals give the salt a complex, well rounded flavor - quite unlike the sharpness of refined salts.
